Ook de leerlingen van OBS Servatius leveren een creatieve bijdrage aan het Kunstenfestival Borkel en Schaft. In de weken voorafgaand aan het festival is op school gewerkt rond het thema THINKING LANDSCAPE.

De kleuters observeerden buiten kleuren en vormen en schilderden hun indrukken op ezels. De middenbouw richtte zich op landschappen en maakte op foamplaten een eigen interpretatie. De bovenbouw trok het bos in om te kijken naar en schetsen te maken van structuren, vormen en kleuren van bomen, planten, insecten en meer. De opgedane inspiratie werd verwerkt in grote objecten van stof.

Het resultaat van al dit werk is te zien op drie locaties in het dorp: bij de kiosk, het plantsoen bij Biestven en in de bomen bij de brug tussen Borkel en Schaft.

The students of OBS Servatius also contribute creatively to the Kunstenfestival Borkel en Schaft. In the weeks leading up to the festival, the school worked around the theme THINKING LANDSCAPE.

The youngest children observed colors and shapes outside and painted their impressions on easels. The middle group focused on landscapes and created their own interpretations on foam boards. The oldest group went into the forest to observe and sketch structures, shapes, and colors of trees, plants, insects, and more. They transformed their inspiration into large fabric objects.

The results of their work can be seen at three locations in the village: at the kiosk, green square at Biestven and in the trees, along the road, near the bridge between Borkel and Schaft.
