Als kunstenaar probeer ik zonder veel verhaal te komen tot een mooi beeld. Vaak ontstaat dit beeld door een beperkt aantal elementen te combineren. Door beelden weer samen te plaatsen, wordt toch enigszins een verhaal overgebracht op de toeschouwer. De beelden horen duidelijk bij elkaar. Het resultaat heeft een rustige uitstraling.

Stan Overeem is in 2015 afgestudeerd als beeldend kunstenaar aan AKV St. Joost in Den Bosch. In 2022 heeft hij de specialisatie tekenkunst afgerond bij IKO Hoogstraten, België. Vanaf 2022 doet hij de vijfjarige opleiding grafiekkunst aan Academie Noord in Brasschaat, België.

As an artist I try to arrive at a beautiful image without much of a story. This image is often created by combining a limited number of elements. By placing images together again, a story is conveyed to the viewer somewhat anyway. The images clearly belong together. The result has a calm appearance.

Stan Overeem graduated as a visual artist from AKV St. Joost in Den Bosch in 2015. In 2022 he completed the specialization in drawing at IKO Hoogstraten, Belgium. From 2022 he follows the five-year graphic art course at Academie Noord in Brasschaat, Belgium.
